Alidade Fire & Fuels
Wildland Fuel Management
If you live in the mountain west, wildfires are going to be a fact of life. I can help you plan for when wildfires affect your property. If your home and outbuildings are constructed with fire resitant materials and your property is managed to withstand fire, you can maintain the standard of living that you desire.
The alidade is a tool that is an integral part of the Osborne Fire Finder that fire lookouts use to locate wildland fires. I can help you find your way to creating survivability for your infrastructure and sustainable management of your property. I provide wildland fuel management consulting services to individuals and businesses who want to safely and efficiently manage the impacts of wildland fire to their property. I consult on structural and wildland fire protection, including fuel management strategies, fire management planning, wildland urban interface assessments, risk analysis and fire prevention planning.
